Toothache pain...any cures or home remedies?

Not a great answer: I'll be honest and say that any relief you get will be temporary. You need to get to the dentists asap. Anti-inflammatory such as Ibuprofen will help temporarily. I've even seen people whole will take a clove and stick it in the cavity (eugenol is a sedative to the tooth). Doesn't work to well. Do yourself a favor and see the dentist before the weekend.

OTC pain meds...: ... For only a short while. There is no way for you to treat yourself to restore a rotten tooth. The sooner you call a dentist for an appointment the sooner you will feel better.

No: You must visit your dentist and evaluate the source of the pain, gums, root canal, etc.
