Good Question: Many of us have been in situations in which someone in authority has dealt with us in an intimidating way. One alternative would be to simply talk with the individual to make sure he/she is aware of how you are experiencing the interaction. In a work setting, you also have the option of utilizing your human resources department. You could also consider involving a neutral third party.

Tell someone: Find someone you trust and say something. Keeping it inside does nothing. Depending on the context, find out what resources you have at your disposal to stop the bullying.
