It may not be: Implantation bleeding. Most often there is no bleeding with implantation. When it does occur the amount of blood is tiny (like a drop or two). If there was much bleeding it could be from hormonal imbalances. An early pregnancy test may be able to detect pregnancy up to 6 day prior to the anticipated period. Regular home pregancy tests are usually done when a period is missed. Take care.
