Myths: Implantation bleeding is a myth. The fetus, smaller than a speck of dust, does not cause trauma when it lands on the wall of the uterus. If there is any blood it may be one or two insignificant spots. Bleeding is something other than implantation.

No, it does not: Implantation "bleeding" is an old wives tale. It actually is very uncommon to have any bleeding associated with implantation. You certainly could have some mild dull pain, but usually not sharp "cramps".

Not dumb: Bleeding doesn't usually occur with implantation. When it does occur ,it is usually a tiny amount of blood. It could be a pink swirl or a small amount of orange or brown material.
