Ideal weight: Insurance tables for normal weights start at 100 lbs for the first 5 feet, then add 5 lbs per inch beyond 5 feet for females, or 7 lbs per inch for males. At 5 ft 7, your ideal weight if you are female should be 135, but 149 for a male. This is just one method for calculating a reference point for your information. You may want to look also at your body mass index.
