No: There is no evidence that Clindamycin can cause canker sores. As a matter of fact, the cause of canker sores is not known. They are associated with many risk factors such as stress, hormonal changes during periods, injury etc. But there is no scientifically evidence they are the cause.

No: Clindamycin may cause pseudomembranous colitis (a GI problem) of which the patient found blood and the stool and stop taking the pill. Allergic reaction includes rash and trouble breathing. In the breathing case, go straight to emergency room. In the rash case, take benadryl (diphenhydramine). Discontinue use of the drug if complication developed.
