Bullous pemphigoid: This is an acute or chronic autoimmune skin disease, in which there is formation of blisters, known as bullae, at the space between the skin layers epidermis and dermis. It is classified as a type ii hypersensitivity reaction. It is not caused by bacteria, but there is always the possibility of secondary bacterial infection.
