What does it mean if you taste metallic days after taking your wisdom teeth out?

Temporary: Should go away soon. Sometimes altered taste is a lingering effect of the drugs used during anesthesia.

Normal: Blood has a metallic taste to it due to the iron. In addition, food particles can get in the socket and impart a strange flavor. When the sockets close, all abnormal tastes should go away.
