A member asked:

Can headache could be a side effect of teething?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Absolutely: Absolutely. Referred pain is especially common with eruption of a lower molar. Pain from the pressure is commonly referred to the ear or generalized as a headache. Sometimes children will reflexively grind their teeth with a new molar erupting. Ibuprofen will help much more than acetaminophen. A weight related dose about 30 minutes before bed frequently helps.
