A member asked:

Does functional dyspepsia or ibs cause a dry cough after eating? or is it more likely to be reflux?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A dry cough: is not typical of functional dyspepsia. Functional dyspepsia is defined by the ROME III guidelines as upper abdominal pain, burning, fullness, getting full easily. Dry cough can be a subtle sign of GERD, gastroesophageal reflux disease.
