No: No. If you are allergic to molds, you might have problems with allergic fungal sinusitis, which is not an invasive infection of the fungus. I guess you might be confused with this condition. On the other hand, if you have invasive fungal infection, you might want to have your immune system looked at.

Fungal allergies: Hello, that is a very good question. I diagnose fungal allergic rhinitis very often yet very few patients suffer from sinusitis let alone fungal sinusitis. So if you have allergies and are sensitive to mold, that may trigger inflammation within the nasal and sinus lining that may lead to an infection. It will most likely be a bacterial or viral infection
