I am about to undergo a ct scan on my sinuses. will they be able to tell whether there is a fungal infection? will it show sephenoid sinuses too?

Yes, it will: show the sphenoid sinus. It will also show signs of infection if there is one, but is generally not specific with regards to the etiologic agent. However, there are some CT signs that, if present, can suggest a fungal etiology.
