Spasm / strain: This is very probably just muscle spasm and back strain. Symptoms of a more serious spine condition would include numbness in your legs or inability to control your bladder.

Pain agrravated by: Sneezing , coughing is sign of what we call alarm sign and would advise you to see your doctor as soon as possible.
