There are many: Different options. I believe you are talking about therapies that dont inlude prescription meds but remember there are very helpful drugs. The best thing you can do is not a product but diet changes. Find a diet low in purines. Avoid red meats, liver, shellfish, beans alcohol etc. Alternatives tumeric cherry extract vitamin c rutin flamasil which includes diff ingredients.Unknown if they work.

Not!: Antiinflammatory drugs and low dose colchicine, before starting Allopurinol to lower uric acid or the new drug uloric. Of course dietary changes help, ie. Lower etoh consumption, no crash diets ( ketosis in urine raises uric acid). Finally, corticosteroid injection in an inflammed joint offers quick relief, but cannot replace the above. I frequently give patient one probeneccid/colchicine, 1/da.
