Ketoconazole cream allowed when pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ketoconazole: It's best to check with your OB/GYN. Although ketoconazole is Pregnancy Class B - there are some uncertainties regarding fetal toxicity and the way the mother's body metabolizes the medication. Topical medications have been used in pregnancy, usually because of limited absorption. However I would first check with your OB/GYN. You don't want to risk it.
