Ketaconazole cream: Is pregnancy category c (animal studies showed adverse effects but there are no human studies for data). Thus, one must weigh fetal risk against maternal benefit. Supposedly there is minimal systemic absorption, but that depends on how much body surface is being treated, how often, & how long. Discuss pro's & con's with ob.
