Haven't hear of: Using it for this purpose (?). Treatment for chlamydia include single dose zithromax or 7 day treatment with doxycline, Erythromycin or amoxicillin. It is sometimes treated for 10 days.

Alternate treatment: Levofloxacain (Levaquin) is effective against chlamydia and is recommended by CDC as an alternate treatment if for some reason neither of the usual treatments (azithromycin, doxycycline) can be given.
