Probably not: Depends upon how far apart the ingestions are, but the combination of alcohol and benzodiazepines (such as valium) can be fatal, and valium is one of the longer-acting benzos.

What I would ask you: Is - what did the medical provider who prescribed the valium tell you about mixing benzodiazapines with alcohol? Were you provided with written information from the pharmacy when you picked up the valium? - what did it say about mixing with alcohol? Mixing the two is dangerous -but i would expect the physician or the pharmacist to mention that to you.
