A member asked:

Can a corn be on the bottom of the foot hidden under 1 toe?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and no: Corns are caused by pressure on bony prominences. This is possible if the corn is located on an area that gets lots of pressure. If the lesion is in the crease of the toe, it could be a wart instead. Warts are viral infections caused by puncture wounds. Warts are more painful than corns especially when compressed from side to side. Seek a foot specialist or dermatologist for help.
