6 months: Every 6 months minimum is the recommedation for cleanings and check ups. Everyone is a bit different and waiting a little longer is frequently not problematic, however many people need to be seen more ofter because of periodontal disease, high caries risk, or other conditions as recommended by your provider.

6-3 months recall : Every six months is perfect, and also if you have advanced gum conditions then you may have to go every three months ask your dentist what he/she thinks.

It depends on YOU: Everyone is different. Some need to be seen every 2-3 months due to a high frequency of decay and/or gum disease. Others may only need to be seen every 2-3 years because they rarely have issues. The average is about every 6-8 months for a teeth cleaning, and about every 12-18 months for exam and x-rays. Your dentist should evaluate you and make a recommendation based on your needs.
