Trauma: The most likely reason for hemorrhage from small vessels in the fingers is trauma. Direct trauma to small vessels can cause rupture and blood leak. If you have no history of trauma, then consideration for review should be given....Some patients can have spontaneous bleeding when certain blood cells are low in numbers (platelets) or other more complex issues.
