Hard to say: Obviously the most common cause of busted / broke blood vessels in your hands is trauma. As we age the skin thins and it and the vessel in it break more easily. Sun damage and vitamin c deficiency may also play a role . There are some other medical conditions that may also cause vessels to break more easily they are not common. It may be helpful to check with your doctor.
