Varies: If a patient has leukemia (white blood cell cancer) it may be very high, in the 100ks. It could also be low with the same diagnosis. Solid tumors can sometimes elevate the WBC if they get necrotic or infected but if the patient is on chemo, they may be low or normal. Confused enough? In a nutshell, it depends on the situation.

Depends: What type of cancer are you referring to? Leukemias can cause elevated white blood cell counts.
