No it varies: There is great variation among lupus patients. Though skin and joint disease are common manifestations, they do not occur in all patients. The disease can affect internal organs, the blood, or cause psychological problems. It is best to get an accurate diagnosis and treatment by a rheumatologist if you have lupus.
