Yes: What I do know is that you can't go through life disabled by severe anxiety and taking two medications for it. Something has to change. The key will be to find the right counselor / therapist / guide / physician who can (1) help you change the impossible life situation you're probably in; (2) help you lean new thought habits; (3) address physiology of panic attacks if present. It often does work.

Possible: You're on two medications from the same class... Are you seeing medical doctors for this? If so, be careful and i recommend seeing one doctor. There's no easy answer whether or not your feelings will go away. I would make sure you're seeing a psychiatrist and also try speaking to a talk therapist if your psychiatrist can't provide that service as well.

Yes: Severe anxiety will usually get better when one combines taking medications with psych. Counseling. Note that i said, it will get better. It may not completely resolve depending on the etiology.

Your symptoms?: Yes, i know many people who have gotten better from severe anxiety. But since you haven't shared your particular symptoms, i can't answer about those. Hoping you also work with a good psychotherapist on this, and don't rely on valium and propanolol alone. Be well.
