Side effects to baby when giving birth and having bv?

Preterm: Not necessary that you will have any of these, although you can. You could still have a perfectly normal baby and pregnancy. You can have preterm birth with bv, a baby low in weight for gestational age, a uterine infection, and more. Get it treated.

Stinky babies: They usually smell bad & can do so for a couple of days even with several good baths. The typical germs of vaginitis usually don't cause a problem unless there is a co-infection with something like chlamydia. The irritation could trigger preterm labor, but the OB's can stop it. It's best to get it treated before baby passes through it.
