Scar and lesions can: The TB must be seen on histology or culture to be confirmed. Sensitivities are also important for treatment.

Sometimes, esp: Chronic infection. But most chest x-rays (at least in the us and canada) done for postive PPD skin test show no evidence of pulmonary tb.

Yes: Common TB comes in two varities In children primary TB shows up as enlarged mediastinal nodes, pneumonia,and pleural fluid on chest xray. With healing of TB get Ghon complex of calcified nodule in lung and calcified node in mediatinum.Secondary TB usually occurs later in life with reinfection with pulmonary and pleural changes in upper part of the chest. Exposure to TB can be without xray change
