A member asked:

My tb test ran positive so now i have to get a tb gold test and chest x-ray. won't those be positive too? what's the point of doing more testing?

Not exactly: Not exactly. Presence of antibodies are detected with the TB test, abnormal xray or sputum detect infection.

Screening test: What you had was a screening test that only shows you were exposed to tb, not a test to say you have an active case. Next tests are to see if you have or had active disease.
