I have a constant symmetrical reddening and swelling around the eyelids corners for 6 months. i have no allergies, no itching or soreness. any clues?

Several possiblities: The most likely would be angular blepharitis, redness of the outside corners of the eyes. Try warm compresses, dietary omega3 and a tiny amount of vaseline to protect the skin from getting macerated. If not better after a week, see your eye doctor for extra help.
