Maybe nerve: You may be impinging on a nerve by lying on your back. Speak with your physician about the symptoms and get a referral to a neurologist for further evaluation if warranted.

Pinching on nerves: Pinching on the cervical nerves and may be the 1st branch of thoracic nerve when you lay on certain position. If the problem persists, it will be best for you to see an orthopedics.

Could be: A pinched nerve in your neck. You are already on Lyrica (pregabalin) for nerve pain and it is not helping. You should probably get checked.
