Possible.: Lupus is notorious for mimicking many medical and surgical conditions, including acute abdominal pain that can lead to surgery. It is commonly associated with widespread vasculitis, an inflammation of the vessels in your body, that can manifest in a myriad of different ways depending on which vessel is involved.
