Need more tests: Your doctor will want to determine if this is normal growth spurt or whether this could be from high pressure inside the skull or abnormal growth hormone levels.

I had MRI of head without contrast. The senior resident of neurology said that it is normal. Does it mean that the optic nerve is also healthy? Can optic nerve status/health be checked through MRI?, apart from a dilated eye exam?
