Diverticulitis?: Pain in the left lower abdominal quadrant could be diverticulitis. It could also be an ovarian cyst. If it becomes extreme you should go to be evaluated. Often times they would do a ct scan or an ultrasound to confirm.

I do not : Know when was the colonoscopy done, recently? If the pain is new to you and sharp, yes, to be on the safe side go to an er. This is especially indicated if the colonoscopy was recent!
