A woman of 25 has skin cancer. always used sun protection. how comes? what are the future prospects?

Yes, sun protection is important- but you need to use it properly so it would be effective. Certain type of skin cancer also can be familial. Don't ever get tanned by going to tanning booth. F/u w/derm regularly, long sleeve, long pants, use lotion with high spf, sun glasses/hat.

Once you: Have one, esp basal cell, you have a very high risk for more in your lifetime.

Always protect: Future prospects suggest that you will have more skin cancers in the future. Invest in some sun protective clothing, it's even better than sunscreen!
