How old are you?: Right-sided chest pain is unusual for heart disease. Other possibilities include pleurisy, muscle ache, arthritis, gall bladder disease. If your neck or shoulder are affected, a pinched nerve in your spine could be the culprit. If you have cardiac risk factors and the pain touches your breast bone (sternum), heart disease is still a consideration, albeit unlikely.
