NO PANIC!: Although any lesion or lump could be cancer, there is no evidence that this is. If it gets painful, grows fast and "spreads" you should see an specialist intermediately for lab exam (biopsy). Otherwise, wait a couple of weeks and see if disappears , as it could be as simple as an inflamed gland or a traumatic rupture of an internal vessel.
