As an Antibiotic: As far as i know lennon sulfacetamide is a branof of sodium sulfacetamide in south africa. This is a bacteriostatic antibiotic. We rarely used it alone. We usually use the blephamide combination which has the sulfacetamide 10% plus 0.125% prednisolone. The combination is very good in controlling meibomian gland inflammation, the sulfacetamide keeps the bacteria controlled.
