Only as precribed: You may use gelusil but only within reasonble limits because it could, if taken excessively, interefere with calcium and phosphorus absorption or even vitamin B12 absorption. Consult your obstetrician if your heartburn persists in spite of gelusil.

Heart burn: I advise against gelusil because it contains aluminum which is controversial. Try plain calcium carbonate e.g. Tums anti-acid, which is safer because it is aluminum free.
