Omeprazole: I would try a two week course of omeprazole. If still have trouble test for hpylori in the stomach.

Follow with pcp: If zantac, (ranitidine) gelusil don't help heart burn you need to see your doctor because this could be more than simple acidity.Avoid foods like fried foods, acidy foods carbonated beverages.Caffeine.Try to not go to bed for about 2-3 hours after P.M.Meals.You may need to get a scope to find any ulcers or other problems.
