Prilosec safe during pregnancy? i have gerd and was told by ob to take prilosec 1x a day. i've only taken a total of 4 pills over the course of weeks. now i'm nervous finding out it's a category c med. will the baby be okay?

By definition category C meds are considered safe in pregnancy, while D & X are not. That label applies when there is not enough research available to grant it favored status. I would take the med as needed and focus on being the healthiest pregnant lady around. When the baby comes you need to be in the best shape possible.
