Yes: There are a battery of psychological tests that can be done to formally diagnose and quantitate memory loss. You would need to see a psychologist. Anafranil (clomipramine) can impair memory, but the more common side effect is fatigue and drowsiness which can make you perform sub-optimally on formal testing.
