D/w your MD: Why did you get the LP in the first place? Did you have headaches, fever, photo sensitivity, neck stiffness etc? If you did and now your LP showed a lot of lymphocytes- that would indicate-perhaps you have a viral meningitis. However, not knowing what is the clinical setting and not knowing the detail result of your csf- ( total wbc, rbc, ldh etc)- it is hard to give you a good answer. D/w ur md.

Means nothing: This is meaningless without the clinical context and absolute white cell count. I'm glad there weren't neutrophils -- they suggest bacterial infection. I suspect the reason you are asking is that your physician did not give you a specific diagnosis. He/she can't, but this does rule out a few entities.
