Heel spur: A heel spur can certainly cause symptoms like this. See a dr. And get and x-ray to rule-out a heel spur. Good luck.

Sharp pain in the : Sole of the foot could be caused by many things. If there is no disruption of the skin, no redness and the pain feels deep to the skin, then the possibility of plantar fasciitis could be raised. Examination by your primary physician or podiatrist may be a good place to start for answers and treatment options.

No needle: I suspect a condition called planter fasciitis. I would refer you to google it and see if that matches your pain.

Where on your foot?: If it is the heel it could be a heel spur.or plantar fascists or sesamoiditis to tendonitis or a host of things . not enough info
