Sharp pain in the : Sole of the foot could be caused by many things. If there is no disruption of the skin, no redness and the pain feels deep to the skin, then the possibility of plantar fasciitis could be raised. Examination by your primary physician or podiatrist may be a good place to start for answers and treatment options.
