Nerve Entrapment: There are several possible causes for nerve pain in the front of the thigh. L2 and L3 lumbar disc herniation is a common cause. Other causes include femoral neuropathy, meralgia paresthetica, and obturator nerve entrapment. A good exam by your doctor to evaluate for weakness and loss of sensation is recommended.
