NCV: A MRI is the standard imaging test but a nerve conduction velocity/ EMG is probably the most sensitive test for nerve impingement. A good physical examination combined with your history will go a long way as well. See a medical professional.

Pinched nerve: Best test would be MRI in a good, closed magnet. Preferably a 1.5tesla or better machine so it leaves no questions... But make sure it is correlated with a good exam!
