Carpal Tunnel Syndro: This is not uncommon complaint in pregnancy. It seems to occur in persons with narrow carpal tunnel when edema(swelling) can further compress median nerve and typical symptoms you described occur. It is usually relieved after delivery when edema is gone but often comes back years later as carpal tunnel further narrows and compresses median nerve.
