Sounds like you may: Be having a carpal tunnel syndrome in which the main nerve to the hand & fingers gets trapped in the wrist byr a thick ligament. It affects all the fingers towards the thumb and generally half of the ring finger. Presents with tingling/numbness early on, usually at night, as it's getting worse, pain/weakness starts with dropping things. Initially splint & later surgery to release it, helps.
