Could be: A varicose vein especially if it blanches when pushed. If it does not blanch then could be from an injury; did you bite your tongue recently. If not better in 7 days see your dentist or ENT doctor.

Blocked....: Salivary gland? Mucocele? I would get it checked by your local dentist.
