Elective: As an elective procedure, this can be done on an inpatient or 23hr observation with only a few days of admission. However, it's surgeon/ patient preference as some may be willing to do it outpatient. For pain control and depending on medical history, it's more likely to at least have 1-2 nights inpatient.
