Cpr to neonate when heart rate below?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

60: The neonatal resuscitation program taught in the us indicates that chest compressions should be started when the heart rate is less than 60 but this is after adequate ventilation has been tried. There are times at birth that the heart rate is less than 60 and after a few manual breaths (ppv) the heart rate comes up right away! one should not be too rigid about numbers as each case is different.
